Who we are and why we exist
Bigger Boat Ministries was born from a simple conviction: the missionaries God has called to the hardest places on earth deserve the same caliber of support, strategy, and infrastructure that fuels any effective organization.
Too often, the men and women giving their lives to reach the unreached are underfunded, under-resourced, and isolated from the strategic counsel that could multiply their impact. We exist to change that — one partnership at a time.

When Simon Peter encountered Jesus on the shores of Galilee, he had fished all night and caught nothing. Jesus told him to go deeper — to put out into the deep water and let down his nets. The catch was so overwhelming that his nets began to break. He had to call for a bigger boat.
That image captures everything we do. We don't just encourage missionaries to go deeper into their calling. We help them build the capacity — the bigger boat — to handle what God brings in.
We operate as development consultants and strategic ministry partners. We work directly with missionary organizations to strengthen their donor relationships, refine how they communicate their vision, and build the frameworks that create long-term sustainability.
This work isn't one-size-fits-all. Every missionary context is different — different field, different culture, different needs. We listen first. Then we build.
Our primary partners are missionary ministries that are serious about growth, donor relationship development, and strategic communication. We also serve as a connection point for individuals and organizations interested in giving to vetted missionary work around the world.
